Autogenous bone is recognized to be the gold standard in bone augmentation procedures for its incomparable biological properties. Bone harvesting free-hand is a very skill-dependent technique and this fact create an important limitation for many Clinicians. but today, the digital technologies give the chance to perform the bone harvesting procedure in a computer guided way, improving the safety, the predictability and the simplicity of the approach.
